Beat the summer rush!

Now through May 28, 2018, Cape Light Compact is opening its highly successful “Main Streets” energy efficiency initiative to small businesses on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard that use less than 60,000 kWh per year. This effort provides eligible businesses with select free energy efficiency upgrades.

This initiative is specially designed to give smaller customers an easy, fast, no-cost way to reduce their electricity use. The upgrades reduce monthly electric bills and often have the bonus of enhancing the comfort of the work space and provide for a more inviting atmosphere for customers.

Free upgrades are tailored to each business and could include high-performance LED lamps and fixtures; wall or ceiling occupancy sensors; programmable thermostats; vending machine controls or water conserving products. Small businesses can also get incentives for up to 80% off other qualified energy efficient improvements.

To take advantage of this limited time offer, eligible businesses on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard must contact Cape Light Compact before Memorial Day (May 28, 2018) to sign up.

Cape Light Compact is also coordinating with National Grid who is also offering certain no-cost gas saving measures such as programmable thermostats and pipe insulation and water saving products.

Start saving energy and money before the busy season starts! If you are a commercial electric customer on Cape Cod or Martha’s Vineyard that uses less than 60,000 kWh per year, give us a call at 1-800-797-6699 to sign-up.

The Compact also has a wide range of other commercial programs for businesses that are not eligible for the Main Streets Initiative. Projects that participate in the Customer Directed Option path are not eligible for the enhanced incentives offered through the Main Streets initiative.
