June 8th Vineyard Event to Feature Ways for

Businesses to Save Energy and Money

Barnstable, MA – With rising electricity prices, energy efficiency is a great way to reduce energy consumption. The Cape Light Compact’s award winning energy efficiency programs offer substantial financial incentives that can make energy efficiency improvements very affordable. The programs are available to any business on Cape Cod or Martha’s Vineyard, whether the business site is owned or rented.

What:  A special presentation by the Cape Light Compact will
feature opportunities for substantial savings available through its energy efficiency programs. The Compact is able to offer financial incentives that can make energy efficiency improvements very affordable, whether you rent or own your business location. 

Any business that signs up for a free energy assessment at the
meeting will get an additional 10% above the current financial
incentive toward the cost of measures that are installed as a result
of the assessment (up to a maximum of $5,000 and not to exceed the cost of the measure.)

Attendees also will be entered into a grand prize drawing to win a 100% incentive that will cover all costs of recommended energy efficiency improvements up to a maximum of $10,000.

When: Monday, June 8th from 5:30 pm to 7 pm 

Who: The program is open to any interested business.

Where: Harbor View Hotel (Chilmark Room), 131 N, Water Street, Edgartown.
