_{June 4th Mid-Cape Save Energy / Save Money}

_{Meeting to Discuss Regional Energy Efficiency Funds and Plans} 

_{Barnstable, MA – Looking to save money on energy bills?  The Cape Light Compact is inviting town energy committees and interested citizens from the Mid-Cape to participate in a conversation about future energy efficiency plans and funds to be available for consumers.  This will be the second of three regional meetings; other meetings are being planned for the Lower Cape and Upper Cape.} 

_{What:  Mid-Cape Save Money / Save Energy Meeting} 

_{When: Thursday, June 4th at 7 pm} 

_{Where: Dennis – Yarmouth Regional High School, 210 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth.}

_{Use the North Station Avenue entrance and park in the side lot adjacent to the solar panels. The meeting room will be accessible using the side entrance adjacent to this parking area.}

_{Who: The program is open to any interested citizen} 

_{Light refreshments will be served.} 

_{In 2014, 217 businesses and 5,151 households in Barnstable, Dennis and Yarmouth took advantage of the Compact’s Energy Efficiency programs.  Many more could benefit from the free energy assessments, rebates and incentives that are available, as well as new programs now under consideration.}   

_{The Compact is preparing a three-year plan to guide its 2016-2018 energy efficiency programs.  The three-year plan could expand into a number of new opportunities.  The Compact is seeking input on the program concepts to ensure that they meet the needs of all local consumers.}   

_{Launched in 2001, the Compact’s energy efficiency programs have won numerous national and state awards.  Currently, the region’s consumers will save more than $495 million over the lifetime of installed measures and improvements.}
