Savings in the shower...

Efficient showerheads and showerhead adapters regulate flow rate, saving water and energy, both before and during your shower, so you can enjoy showering and saving money.

Showers in the home account for nearly 17 percent of residential indoor water use. Specially-designed energy efficient shower fixtures can save several gallons of water per shower.

Great innovations in efficient showerheads and thermostatic shut-off valves allow you to reduce the amount of water being used on average and the amount of energy needed to heat the water.

Thermostatic Shut-Off Valves (TSVs)

TSVs are integrated with new showerheads or with showerhead adapters that can be used with your existing showerhead. The valve is triggered by water temperature and helps reduce the amount of hot water that runs down the drain before you get in the shower if you let the water run to warm up before getting in.

The TSV senses when the water is up to temperature and then slows the water flow to a trickle. To start your shower, simply pull a cord attached to the valve, and full water flow resumes.
