Cape Light Compact is offering several rebates for replacing heating and cooling equipment early.
Offer for Oil or Propane Boiler or Furnace
Requirements:
- Call 1-800-797-6699 between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18 to participate in a home energy assessment (must have assessment by 12/31/18). During the assessment, the energy specialist will verify the eligibility of the existing equipment.
- Existing boiler must be at least 30 years old.
- Existing furnace must be at least 12 years old.
- Equipment must meet the minimum requirements shown in table below and be installed by 12/31/18.
- Rebate form and other documentation must be postmarked by 12/31/18.

* Verification of landlord status (including a copy of the mechanical permit and lease agreement along with a utility bill) is required to earn an additional $500 for non-owner occupied propane forced hot water boiler bonus.

Please note:
- Existing system must be functional at the time of the energy assessment.
- These rebates are not available when switching/converting fuel type. New heating system must be of the same fuel type as eligible system.
- Customers receiving the early replacement rebates are NOT eligible for any other Cape Light Compact/Mass Save heating equipment rebates on installed equipment.

Offer for Central Air Conditioning and Air Source Heat Pump
Requirements:
- You have 2 ways to participate:
- Call 1-800-797-6699 between 1/1/18 and 12/31/18 to participate in a home energy assessment (must have assessment by 12/31/18). During the assessment, the energy specialist will verify the eligibility of the existing equipment. OR
- Contact an AC Check Trained Contractor and have them verify the existing system for eligibility.
- Existing system must be at least 12 years old.
- Equipment must meet the minimum requirements shown in table below and be installed by 12/31/18.
- Rebate form and other documentation must be postmarked by 1/31/19.
