By adding more insulation to your building or sealing drafty air leaks, you can greatly reduce heat loss and save energy in your building.
Cape Light Compact and the Sponsors of Mass Save offer incentives to upgrade insulation in attics, basements, and walls, and seal air leakage in attics.

Commercial Customers can access insulation and air sealing rebates in a few ways:
- Customers looking to do weatherization and receive a comprehensive business energy assessment can sign up online or call 1-800-797-6699. In this scenario, the customer receives the incentive upfront off the total cost of the work and only pays for the co-pay amount. The work is performed by the Compact’s contracted vendor.
- For customers who want to receive a comprehensive assessment and install weatherization, but who want to use their own contractor, can follow the Customer Directed Pathway.
- Customers who want to work with their selected contractor without having a comprehensive assessment can pay for the installation upfront and then apply for a rebate after completion of the project by filling out the rebate application and submitting it with the required documentation.
