Melissa started her career as an Office Intern for the Compact and Commissioner’s Office during school breaks in High School. In February 2018 she started working as the Senior Administrative Coordinator where she provides administrative support and helps with various programmatic projects. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a concentration in Natural Resources and Conservation from Southern New Hampshire University.

Jason joined the Cape Light Compact in 2023 as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In this position he oversees the Compact’s marketing efforts. Jason graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in history and political science. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the beach, cooking for friends and family, and collecting records.

Kate joined the Compact as an Outreach Specialist focused on working with customers interested in the Energy Saver Home Loan Program. She has a BA in Environment, Sustainability, and Geography from the University of Minnesota–Duluth and an MS in Sustainable Cities from King’s College, London. During her free time, she likes reading, walking around new places, and watching soccer.

Anneliese has worked with the Compact since 2013 and officially joined our staff in 2016. With 12 years of customer service experience, she assists customers on the phone who are looking to have an energy assessment or who have questions on the many energy efficiency programs we offer. Anneliese enjoys spending time with her family and paddle boarding on the many ponds Cape Cod has to offer.

Maggie oversees all of Cape Light Compact’s operations and programs. She has been working on energy-related issues since she joined Barnstable County in 1994, and became the Assistant Barnstable County Administrator and Compact Administrator in 1997. Maggie has a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Washington at Seattle, and a Graduate Certificate in Management from Harvard University Extension School.

Eva joined Cape Light Compact in May of 2023 as Customer Service Coordinator. She is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the call center, including customer audit intake and scheduling, invoicing, processing income verification requests, etc. Eva holds a bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University in Communications. For fun she likes to travel with her family, garden, and go to the beach.

Kim has over 10 years of experience in the energy industry with a background in energy efficiency and working with municipalities. Before joining Cape Light Compact, she worked at Rhode Island Energy, National Grid, and Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company in various roles, including marketing campaign manager and program manager. She received a BA in Journalism from Rhode Island College and a Building Analyst Certification from BPI. Kim enjoys bike riding on rail trails, trying restaurants with GF options, and exploring the Cape as she recently moved here with her cat Luna.

Lindsay has worked for the Compact since 2007. She started out as the Compact’s administrative assistant and is now responsible for managing the small and medium business energy assessment programs and upstream commercial HVAC, Lighting and Foodservice programs for the Compact. Lindsay has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Angela officially joined the Compact in 2024. Starting in Barnstable County IT in 2012, she has been in the public sector in regional, municipal, and public safety IT across the region, managing complex IT services including IT strategy & operations, fiber/broadband solutions, network support, and regional IT initiatives. Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, a Women in Leadership Certificate from Cornell, and is a graduate student in Data Science. She enjoys visiting her daughters in Boulder and NYC, watching football, and working on her barn.

Briana began working for Barnstable County in 2004 and joined the Compact in 2008. She is responsible for the management and oversight of the Compact's residential programs. Briana has an environmental background and received her Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics with a minor in Forestry from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a Master of Public Administration from Suffolk University. Briana enjoys going to the beach, and spending time with her family, friends and of course her dogs!

David brings 30+ years of experience in the energy industry to his role as Senior Analyst at Cape Light Compact. David is a Certified Energy Manager and a Member of the Association of Energy Engineers. He has worked in Commercial and Residential market sectors for Manufacturers, ESCO’s, Utilities, and Non-Profits. Most recently David was a consultant Program Manager for the Rhode Island Income Eligible Services plan. His hobbies include spending time with his family, reading, and kayaking.

Mariel manages the Compact’s power supply program. Prior to joining the Compact in 2021, Mariel worked for a research and consulting firm focused on water markets before which she was a Renewables Program Coordinator for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources. Mariel attended Tufts University for undergraduate and graduate studies, receiving a Masters degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning in 2017. Having grown up in Barnstable, she enjoys spending her free time on the water with friends and family.

Stephen started at the Compact in 2022. He brings over ten years of experience facilitating conservation education programs and received a Master’s Degree in Biology from Miami (OH) Global Field Program. Outside of the Compact, he is in a constant pursuit of improving his chess skills, growing his rock & mineral collection, and eating delicious food.

Meredith joined the Compact’s team in 2012. She has worked in the energy industry for over 20 years and currently oversees the Compact’s multi-family, low income, residential lighting & products, and new construction programs. Meredith has a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard in Government and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell. For fun, she likes to explore Cape Cod with her camera in hand.

Phil started working for the Compact in 2010. He is the manager of the Compact’s evaluation and planning. Phil has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The College of New Jersey, and an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University. When he isn’t working, Phil enjoys going hiking.

Tatsiana started at the Compact in 2023 as an Energy Efficiency Analyst. Prior to joining the Compact, she worked for municipal electric cooperative assisting Cape and Islands public entities in reaching their green energy goals. Tatsiana has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. Outside of the Compact, Tatsiana enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, learning new languages, sunbathing on the beach in the summer and riding the slopes of northeastern mountains on her snowmobile in winter.

Dan joined the Compact in the fall of 2018 as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In 2021, he transitioned to the Senior Analyst role where he covered all demand response, HVAC, products, lighting, and foodservice programs. In 2024 he transitioned to the Customer Service and Outreach manager where he oversees the call center, marketing and communications, and outreach staff. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from UMASS Dartmouth.

Miranda joined the Compact in 2023 as a Strategy and Regulatory Analyst focusing on evaluation, measurement, and verification for the Compact’s Energy Efficiency Program. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Environmental Science from the University of San Diego. For fun, she enjoys reading, cooking, and baking.

Margaret started with Barnstable County in 2002 as an AmeriCorps member (working with the Compact’s programs) and joined the Compact’s staff in 2003. Margaret oversees the commercial & industrial programs. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Spanish from Hendrix College, completed courses toward a Master of Arts degree in History at Harvard Extension School and is currently in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies. Margaret enjoys crafting in her spare time, especially knitting or crocheting.
