{"id":4545,"date":"2015-05-26T15:42:48","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T19:42:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.capelightcompact.org\/press-release\/june-4th-event-to-discuss-regional-energy-efficiency-plans\/"},"modified":"2015-05-26T15:42:48","modified_gmt":"2015-05-26T19:42:48","slug":"june-4th-event-to-discuss-regional-energy-efficiency-plans","status":"publish","type":"press-release","link":"https:\/\/www.capelightcompact.org\/pt-br\/press-release\/june-4th-event-to-discuss-regional-energy-efficiency-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"June 4th Event to Discuss Regional Energy Efficiency Plans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><sub>Media Advisory<\/sub><\/strong><strong><sub>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/sub><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><sub>June 4th Mid-Cape Save Energy \/ Save Money <\/sub><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><sub>Meeting to Discuss Regional Energy Efficiency Funds and Plans<\/sub><\/strong><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><sub>Barnstable, MA \u2013 Looking to save money on energy bills?\u00a0 The Cape Light Compact is inviting town energy committees and interested citizens from the Mid-Cape to participate in a conversation about future energy efficiency plans and funds to be available for consumers. \u00a0This will be the second of three regional meetings; other meetings are being planned for the Lower Cape and Upper Cape.<\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><strong><sub>What:<\/sub><\/strong><sub>\u00a0 <em>Mid-Cape Save Money \/ Save Energy Meeting<\/em><\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><strong><sub>When: <\/sub><\/strong><sub>Thursday, June 4th at 7 pm<\/sub><strong><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><sub>Where: <\/sub><\/strong><sub>Dennis \u2013 Yarmouth Regional High School, 210 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth<\/sub><sub>. <\/sub><\/p>\n<p><sub>Use the North Station Avenue entrance and park in the side lot adjacent to the solar panels. The meeting room will be accessible using the side entrance <\/sub><sub>adjacent to this parking area.<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><strong><sub>Who: <\/sub><\/strong><sub>The program is open to any interested citizen<\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><sub>Light refreshments <\/sub><sub>will be served.<\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><sub>In 2014, 217 businesses and 5,151 households in Barnstable, Dennis and Yarmouth took advantage of the Compact&#8217;s Energy Efficiency programs.\u00a0 Many more could benefit from the free energy assessments, rebates and incentives that are available, as well as new programs now under consideration.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><sub>The Compact is preparing a three-year plan to guide its 2016-2018 energy efficiency programs. \u00a0The three-year plan could expand into a number of new opportunities.\u00a0 The Compact is seeking input on the program concepts to ensure that they meet the needs of all local consumers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sub><strong><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sub>Launched in 2001, the Compact&#8217;s energy efficiency programs have won numerous national and state awards.\u00a0 Currently, the region\u2019s consumers will save more than $495 million over the lifetime of installed measures and improvements.\u00a0\u00a0<\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><sub>For more information about the Compact and its programs visit <\/sub><a href=\"https:\/\/www.capelightcompact.org\/\"><sub>www.capelightcompact.org<\/sub><\/a><sub>.<\/sub><sub>\u00a0<\/sub><\/p>\n<p><strong><sub>ABOUT CAPE LIGHT COMPACT<\/sub><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sub>Cape Light Compact is an award-winning energy services organization operated by the 21 towns and two counties on Cape Cod and Martha&#8217;s Vineyard.
