2013 Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH)

In 2013, residents of Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard can receive a $750 Rebate from Cape Light Compact when they have a licensed plumber replace their existing Electric Resistance Storage Tank Water Heater with a qualified Heat Pump Water Heater or have one installed while building a new home!

Required Steps

1. Purchase a qualifying Heat Pump Water Heater (See Below)
2. Work with a licensed plumber to install your new Heat Pump Water Heater (See Installation Guidelines below)
3. Fill out the 2013 Heat Pump Water Heater Rebate Form
   • Make sure you fill out the form completely, accurately and legibly
4. Attach the following to the Rebate Form
   • Dated receipt with product information Including: (If Purchased through Retailer)
     • Water Heater Make and Model #
     • Purchase Price
     • Purchase Date
   • Contractor Invoice Including: (Click here for example)
     • Contractor Name and License Number
     • Installation Date
     • Water Heater Make, Model and Size
     • Customer name and installation address
     • Installed cost
