Commercial and Industrial Retrofit
Would you like to make your existing facility more
energy efficient? The retrofit program offers customers
financial assistance, education, technical
assistance and commissioning services. It covers
a wide range of efficiency measures, depending
upon the customer’s electricity end-uses and
measure cost-effectiveness. The technologies
supported include, but are not limited to, lighting, variable speed drives, building envelope measures,
controls, energy management systems,
HVAC and process improvements. Financial incentives
are based on the total equipment and
labor costs of installing efficient equipment.
Commercial and Industrial New Construction
If you are contemplating a new facility, contact the
Cape Light Compact as early in the process as
possible to obtain the maximum benefit. Participating
customers will be offered technical support,
financial assistance, education, project design
and commissioning services. The Program is
available to customers at the time of new or substantial
reconstruction, renovation, remodeling of existing buildings, or equipment replacement at
the end of its useful life. The intent is to help customers
overcome the first-cost and other barriers
to investing in energy efficiency and enjoy lower
operating costs for many years.
Small Business Enhanced Incentives
Small Business represents the backbone of the
Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard economy. This
program offers a turnkey audit, installation and incentive,
to small business customers served by
rate G-1 (also G-5 if demand does not exceed
100kW). The audit will identify cost effective opportunities
and is available free of charge. After
the opportunities have been identified, many of
the measures will qualify for an 80% rebate from
the Cape Light Compact.
