The Cape Light Compact gives consumers market leverage and protects consumer interests through group purchase. The Compact's contract with ConEdison Solutions helps to ensure stable pricing for all electric service customers in Cape Light Compact communities. Looking ahead, the Cape Light Compact is working to stabilize rates by soliciting longer term/multi-year power supply contracts, and partnering with the towns to incorporate municipal renewable energy projects into the Cape Light Compact's power supply portfolio.
